Senior Teacher

Clare Tilley | BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP, HPC (Reg), AACP, MSOM, APPI  Clare graduated from East London University and the Royal London Hospital In 1995. She has over 15 years specific musculoskeletal and orthopaedic experience and has worked in the NHS, private and Australia. She has post-graduate qualifications in acupuncture (member of AACP), is a member of the Society of Orthopeadic Medicine (MSOM) and is a fully certified member of the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). Clare's special interests include spinal and pelvic rehabilitation, patella-femoral dysfunction and sports injuries. She now uses Pilates throughout her clinical practice for many different conditions as well as teaching classes and 1:1 sessions. She regularly treats antenatal and postnatal patients to restore core stability and pelvic floor strength with modified Pilates

Claire now is a APPI presenter and teaches on a range of APPI Pilates courses monthly throughout the UK .

Our Teachers

Modified Pilates combines remedial Pilates techniques together with Physiotherapy spinal rehabilitation (Kinetic Control) to deliver a very safe, effective, tried, tested and enjoyable way of strengthening your spine, in addition to all of the above mentioned benefits. The program is based upon the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) research and established Physiotherapy stability techniques. The program is taken by an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist (specialising in muscle imbalance and spinal rehabilitation) / Certified Modified Pilates Instructor (APPI), who has worked within the public & private sectors.
